Woman arrested on Ship Canal Bridge after flashing gun during domestic violence incident

Seattle police said they arrested a woman on the Ship Canal Bridge after a domestic violence incident on Wednesday afternoon.

Police tweeted at 12:27 p.m. that they had taken the woman into custody after she flashed a gun during the incident in the 8100 block of Aurora Avenue, drove off in a car and crashed on the bridge.

The events leading up to the domestic violence altercation are unknown.

The incident on the bridge caused traffic delays in the area.
