SAN DIEGO - Marlon Vera and Dominick Cruz came face-to-face for the first and only time on Friday ahead of their UFC on ESPN 41 main event.

Vera (19-7-1 MMA, 13-6 UFC) and Cruz (24-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) are set to clash in a high-stakes bantamweight bout on Saturday at Pechanga Arena. The entire card airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+.

Before they can share the octagon, though, "Chito" and Cruz had to get their final pieces of business done. That included successfully making weight on Friday morning then engaging in a final staredown.

Check out the video above to see the intense faceoff between Vera and Cruz at UFC on ESPN 41 ceremonial weigh-ins.
