Recruiting never sleeps, it just doesn't. For Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame, they are taking full advantage of momentum on the recruiting trail, having a stellar 2023 class and a fantastic start to the 2024 cycle.
The current crop of soon to be juniors are starting their evaluations of schools and the Irish are among many of their top choices. Already defensive ends Brandon Davis-Swain and Owen Wafle have committed, with Freeman looking too continue to add on to the class.
With that in mind the Irish got some great news this afternoon, as Florida wide receiver Bredell Richardson has set a date for an unofficial visit to South Bend.
The six-foot-one-inch and 185-pound Sunshine State star already hold over 40 verbal offers from schools like Alabama, LSU, Penn State and of course Notre Dame. It does seem like Richardson is making a Midwest tour, as he also announced a visit to Michigan also on June 3rd.
Reading into the schedule visits, it may seem like Richardson is a bit higher on the Irish at the moment, spending a day-and-a-half there. Time will tell if that is the right read, but at the current moment it looks like the Irish have a lot of time to wow Richardson during his visit.
