Police respond to homicide on East 56th Street in Kansas City

Kansas City police responded to a homicide Wednesday in the 3700 block of E. 56th Street.

Sgt. Jacob Becchina, a Kansas City Police Department spokesman, said the homicide was under investigation shortly before 3 p.m.

No other details were immediately available.
