A person was found shot in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood Tuesday evening.
According to Pittsburgh police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 200 block of Beltzhoover Avenue at 5:10 p.m.
First responders found a male victim who had been shot in the chest in the area of Loyal Way and Harcourt Way.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead a short time later.
There's no suspect description or any word on suspects at this time.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
