Ole Miss, Missouri both hope to avoid third straight loss

Injury-depleted Ole Miss will look to get back on the winning track Tuesday night when the Rebels host up-and-down Missouri in a Southeastern Conference game in Oxford, Miss. The Rebels (9-7, 1-3 SEC) dropped their past two games against Texas A&M and Auburn. Likewise, the Tigers (7-9, 1-3) also have lost two in a row, but neither team has yet to lose three straight games this season.

Purdue hit four straight shots to take an 89-83 lead with 1:03 left in double overtime.

When Arkansas hosts South Carolina on Tuesday, the Razorbacks will be looking to continue the run they had on Saturday. With coach Eric Musselman out due to shoulder surgery, Arkansas (12-5, 2-3 SEC) finished off its game at LSU on a 17-2 run in the final nine minutes, racing away to a 65-58 upset of the then-No. 12 Tigers. Acting coach Keith Smart, who is leading the team in place of Musselman, said he had to calm down the Razorbacks after they went four minutes without a basket.
