Fishers police arrest Noblesville man in road rage shooting

Fishers police have arrested a Noblesville man who allegedly shot another driver in a road rage incident Thursday evening.

Trevor Dahl, 24, Noblesville, has been arrested on felony charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness and pointing a firearm after police say he shot another driver near 96th Street and Hague Road shortly before 9 p.m. Nov. 17 in an encounter that Fishers police described in a release as road rage.

The man who was shot was headed westbound on 96th St. in a black Honda when Dahl shot him from another vehicle, police said.

The shooting caused the Honda driver to lose control of his vehicle and crash into another car. The Honda driver was taken to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury and the other driver was treated on the scene

By the time officers arrived, the suspect had fled the scene.Fishers police credited the Flock Safety Camera System, which can read license plates, with helping them identify the suspect.

Dahl is being held in Hamilton County jail.
