Feb. 7's Thunder vs. Lakers game will now air on TNT

To cap off Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's first All-Star appearance, it was also announced on Thursday that next Tuesday's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers will be flexed to TNT.

The game will now air at 9 p.m. CT.

Entering Thursday, LeBron James is 89 points away from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring leader in league history.

Considering there are two games between now and Tuesday for the Lakers, it appears the NBA is betting on James breaking the record against the Thunder.

For the Thunder, this is their second nationally televised game of the season. The Thunder's loss to the Miami Heat on Jan. 10 was also flexed on TNT.

The Thunder have two games before their matchup against the Lakers on Tuesday, Feb. 7 - the first being at home against the Houston Rockets on Saturday, Feb. 4 and the second being on the road against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, Feb. 6.
