Julian Edelman followed up his Super Bowl MVP season with another amazing achievement. He graduated from Kent State on Saturday.

Edelman, who was a college quarterback at Kent State, wanted to fulfill a promise that he had made to his mother before going to the NFL, and he was able to do that.

But, as is always the case, some jokes were made at Edelman's extent in the wake of his big achievement. The best came on Twitter when Patriots quarterback Tom Brady threw shade at Edelman with a hilarious comment on Edelman's tweet about his graduation.

Brady has been a jokester on social media since creating a Twitter account, but this good-natured barb may have been one of the best of all. Here's hoping this continues to improve their off-field relationship as the duo prepares for their 10th season together in 2019.
