Mar. 4-WINDOM - A patient in the Windom hospital reportedly made threatening statements and exhibited escalating violent behavior that caused hospital staff to feel unsafe.

Witness statements included the following accusations against Shawn Myers, 32:

* He told a staff member, "I'm gonna take you guys out when I'm out of here, you're done, I'm coming back."

* He made a gun with his hand and pantomimed shooting multiple staff members.

* He made repeated statements about killing people, specifically women.

The witnesses told police they believed that Myers's threats were credible and that he was capable of carrying them out.

Myers was arrested for felony terroristic threats, which carries a maximum possible sentence of five in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. If convicted, Myers will be sentenced based on criminal history.

He is being held in Cottonwood County Jail.
