Rutgers football offers impressive lineman Vincent Carroll-Jackson

Vincent Carroll-Jackson is one of the most impressive linemen in the region. Now after Saturday night, Carroll-Jackson is under the radar no longer.

This weekend, Carroll-Jackson was offered by Rutgers football. It was the first Power Five offer for the class of 2023 standout.

It may not be his last.

A 6-foot-5, 280-pound senior lineman at Central Dauphine East High School (Dauphin, PA), Carroll-Jackson is playing football after taking off several years from the sport. He is lining up as an offensive tackle as well as a defensive end.

Earlier this fall, he earned offers from programs such as Buffalo, UConn, New Hampshire, Ohio and Kent State and several others have come rolling in. Rutgers is his first Power Five offer.

He tweeted about the offer on Saturday, shortly after attending Rutgers loss to No. 11 Penn State:

This was a bit of a rebuilding year for Carroll-Jackson and his Panthers as they finished with a 3-7 record.
