The Baltimore Ravens pulled off an impressive win against the New England Patriots in Week 3 to improve their 2022 record to 2-1. There have been multiple contributors on offense this season, but one if the most notable ones has been wide receiver Devin Duvernay, who coming into the year was expected to have a bigger role after the departure of wide receiver Marquise Brown.
Duvernay has stepped up throughout the season so far, and caught two passes for 25 yards and a score in Week 3. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked about Duvernay's big-play ability, saying that he's fulfilled expectations.
Duvernay has become one of quarterback Lamar Jackson's favorite targets this season. The wide receiver has three touchdowns and 121 receiving yards on eight receptions, showing off his big-play ability on special teams as well. He returned a 103-yard kickoff for a touchdown in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins, and has produced some electric plays over the first three weeks of the 2022 season.
