Police investigating after Burlington man shot and killed Tuesday

A Burlington man was fatally shot Tuesday on James Drive.

Jaquan Lennel Boyd, 28, was found in the 100 block of James Drive just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 30. Boyd was suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on scene.

Burlington Police have yet to release any more details, but the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the police department at (336) 229-3500 or Alamance County CrimeStoppers at (336) 229-7100.
