ELLWOOD CITY - A Monday night shooting in the borough has left one woman dead and another victim in critical condition.
According to first responders, the shooting occurred at an apartment building in the 200 block of First Street around 5:15 p.m. Monday. Witnesses say the gunman, who is believed to have known the victims, was taken into custody at the scene.
As of Tuesday morning, the names of the two victims have not been released to the public. More information about the shooting is expected to be released throughout the day.
