Nashville police: Gas station clerk fatally shot in Hermitage; suspect at large

A gas station clerk is dead after a shooting on Monday afternoon, the Metro Nashville Police Department said.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. at the Kwik Sak in the 4800 block of Lebanon Pike in Hermitage. Police believe two male suspects entered the store and one fatally shot the clerk behind the counter.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
