Instagram users are crying foul, accusing Kim Kardashian of using Photoshop to alter a picture of 8-month-old Chicago West.
The so-called proof lies in a discrepancy between a photo of Chicago (on the left) and her 8-month-old cousin Stormi (right) posted by Kardashian and by Kylie Jenner. Jenner initially posted the image of the two girls wearing pink pajamas in September, with the caption, "Slumber party."
Kardashian then posted the same pic on Oct. 2, but fans noticed that Chicago looked … different. "Apparently this is photoshopped," remarked one follower on the latter photo. According to Allure, people also wrote, "I feel sorry about the poor child her mom doesn't see her perfect" and "She will give her kids body dysmorphia and it's sad." Still, many said that any alterations were self-perceived or attributed to different filters.
According to Celeb Face, an Instagram account devoted to exposing Hollywood digital tricks, Chicago's curly hair and forehead had been smoothed out in Kardashian's photo.
In September, when Kardashian shared a photo of her 2-year-old son, Saint, Instagram accused her of "whitewashing" the boy and airbrushing his features. "Filtering your child's face to look more perfect. Disgraceful," read one comment.
Kardashian is constantly facing accusations that she airbrushes her images (which she has denied), and she hasn't commented on the rumors about Chicago.
