Giants great Lawrence Tynes kicked off podcast for defending Eli Manning

Former New York Giants placekicker Lawrence Tynes was booted from a Philadelphia Eagles-centric podcast on FOX Sports Radio for sticking up for former teammate Eli Manning.

The exchange can be seen below:

The two hosts of the "Paulie and Tony Fusco Show" attempted to goad Tynes into saying that Manning was not a Hall of Fame quarterback and did not deserve to be named MVP of two Super Bowls.

In what seemed like a tongue-in-cheek exchange, Tynes would not relent and was kicked off the show after seven minutes of ridiculous grilling and browbeating by the hosts, who obviously think very little of Eli.

"Do you see those two [Super Bowl] trophies up there?" Tynes said. "Dak hasn't even sniffed one … Eli Manning is an assassin. What are you talking about? Great player…He won two Super Bowls. How can he be an (expletive) quarterback?"

Tynes was then told to, "shut up and get outta here!"

He did. Gladly.
