Georgia football has extended a scholarship offer to 2024 quarterback Jake Merklinger out of Calvary Day School in Savannah, Ga.
Merklinger is rated as the No. 10 quarterback, the No. 21 player in the state and the No. 114 recruit overall in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 195 pound gunslinger has completed 452 of 669 pass attempts for 6,607 with 75 touchdowns and 22 interceptions in his three year career for the Cavaliers.
