Elon Musk is trying to recruit people to work at Tesla's giant battery factory in the middle of the Nevada desert (TSLA)

Elon Musk went on Twitter to promote job openings for Tesla's Gigafactory, which the company is using to make battery cells and drivetrains for its electric cars. The factory is located in Sparks, Nevada.

"Come work at the biggest & most advanced factory on Earth! Located by a river near the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains with wild horses roaming free," Musk said on Twitter, linking to a page on Tesla's website where applicants can read about the Gigafactory and submit their resumes. Tesla's online job board lists all of the available positions at the factory.

The Gigafactory will contain over five million square feet once it's finished, and Musk claims it will be able to make more battery cells than any other lithium-ion battery factory in the world. Being able to make battery cells on a large scale is an essential part of Musk's plan to make both the batteries and the electric cars they're used in more affordable. While Tesla has struggled to produce its first mass-market electric car, the Model 3, so far, Musk has said the company plans to accelerate production in 2018.

This isn't the first time Musk has taken to Twitter to try and recruit new talent.

Musk used Twitter to promote Tesla job listings when the company was building its Autopilot development team in 2015.

Tesla also faces the unenviable choice of raising prices at the risk of losing customers or slashing costs by thousands of dollars per vehicle as the electric vehicle tax break started to phase out from earlier this month. Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk had said earlier this month that Tesla will no longer be taking orders for the 75 kWh version of the Model S and X to streamline production. "As a result of this change (layoffs) and because of improving efficiencies in our production lines, we have reduced Model S and X production hours accordingly," a Tesla spokesperson said in an email.

Brexit backer Dyson moves vacuum giant's HQ to Singapore

James Dyson, the billionaire Brexit supporter who revolutionized vacuum cleaners with his bagless technology, is moving his head office to Singapore from Britain to be closer to his company's fastest-growing markets. Dyson's company said the move to Singapore, where it will build its new electric car, was not driven by Britain's looming departure from the European Union or tax implications, with much of its product development remaining in south west England. The 71-year-old inventor has become one of Britain's best-known entrepreneurs, creating a multibillion-dollar company from an insight that a cyclone could collect household dust better than a clogged-up bag.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tells Colbert
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tells Colbert 'how many f*cks' she gives and you can probs guess the number

You can probably tell from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's frankly stellar Twitter presence that she is a force to be reckoned with. But, rather predictably, AOC and a few other vocal freshman members of congress have been told by senior politicians to "wait your turn, go slow," as Colbert put it. AOC has been quick to make a name for herself for her incisive tweets and fiery Twitter takedowns of GOP members.  Colbert asked her a question that a few us probably already know the answer to: "On a scale of zero to some, how many fucks do you give?" Colbert asked her.  "I think it's, uuuh, zero," replies AOC.  Extreme same!
