Celtics center Enes Kanter gifts Bill and Hillary Clinton with Celtics jerseys

Enes Kanter has made quite a few headlines on social media since joining the Boston Celtics this offseason. And on Monday night, he continued to make some waves.

Kanter posted pictures of himself meeting with former president Bill Clinton and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Kanter gifted both with custom Celtics jerseys and detailed a conversation he had with Bill in a recent tweet.

Clinton's savvy Kyrie Irving joke shows that he must be following the team. Perhaps he became a Celtics fan when he attended law school at Yale. But either way, his allegiance appears to be with the Celtics.

According to another tweet, Kanter was meeting with the Clintons to discuss human rights violations in Turkey. The Turkish Kanter has openly spoken out against Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

This likely won't be the last time that Kanter meets with political figures during his Celtics career.

At Phoenix rally, Trump says it doesn't matter who secures the Democratic nomination: 'We're going to win'

President Trump held a rally in Phoenix on Wednesday night at the same time Democrats were debating in Las Vegas, and he was sure to get in several digs against the candidates. He called Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) a "phony," referred to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as "crazy," and called former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg "Mini Mike." Trump proclaimed that it doesn't matter who the Democratic nominee is, because "we're going to win," but seemed to hint that he thinks it will be a close race in Arizona in November. While he won the state in 2016, he only beat Hillary Clinton by 3.5 percentage points. "We'll be back a lot," he...

Democrats Still Haven't Come to Terms with 2016

In an otherwise excellent Politico article advising Democrats how to avoid the fate of 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney, former Obama staffer Dan Pfeiffer offers his team some self-soothing revisionism regarding the 2016 election:> When all is said and done, the 2016 election might end up being a black-swan event. The combination of Russian interference, Comey intervention and multiple third-party candidates make that election a hard one to extract guidance from.Guess what? Every election is conducted under a unique set of circumstances. Every election is a black-swan event. But that doesn't mean you should rewrite history to excuse your side's performance. The so-called "Comey...
