A man is under arrest after three people were shot and killed early Wednesday in a home in the Spring Lake Estates community in Callahan, according to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.
The man was arrested after calling the Sheriff's Office following the deaths of two women and a man, Sheriff Bill Leeper said.
"It appears they may all be related but we are still trying to work that out," Leeper said. "... It's a quiet neighborhood and we haven't had a lot of calls here. And to my knowledge, we haven't had any call to that house."
Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Ashley Spicer said investigators are awaiting a warrant so they can go inside the home.
"The suspect is in custody so we don't have to worry about anybody on the loose," she said.

Deputies were called just after 7 a.m. to the Deer Run Road home, Spicer said. The community is in a wooded area just north of Lem Turner Road.
Spicer said the suspect is in his 50s but no other information on the victims can be released until next of kin are notified.
Leeper said investigators plan to be at the scene for quite a while.
