An Amber Alert has been issued for two Idaho children who were allegedly abducted by their 20-year-old babysitter and are believed to be in "imminent danger."
The children - 11-month-old Sapphira Holmberg and 1-year-old Malik Holmberg - were last seen in Nampa at 423 14th Ave. S, the Amber Alert said. The now missing kids were reportedly taken by Sierra Martinez, who may be using drugs, according to a tweet from Idaho State Police.
"Nampa PD have reason to believe they are in danger," according to the tweet posted by state police regarding the children.
Martinez is a Caucasian woman with brown hair - which is shaven on one side - and green eyes, according to the Amber Alert and the tweet from State Police. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs 165 pounds.
Martinez may be driving a blue 2003 Honda Pilot, authorities said. A plate number was not provided as the vehicle might not have plates or the plates might be stolen.
Sapphira Holmberg, 11 months, is a Caucasian toddler who is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, authorities said. She is 2 feet tall and weighs 25 pounds. She has a white patch scar under her armpit.
Malik Holmberg, 1, is a Caucasian boy who is described as having brown hair and blue eyes, authorities said. He is 2 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds.
According to the alert, Malik has a freckle on his left ear, and two identifiable birthmarks: one on the back of his head the bask of the neck, one on the center of his chest.
If anyone has any information they are asked to call the Nampa Police Department at 208-465-2206 or 911.
