Hollywood police would like "community assistance" as they search for the gunman who they say shot Janavis Ray'Quan Louis Saturday night.

Louis, 19, was found near the intersection of North 23rd Avenue and Scott Street around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. He died after being taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Anyone who has information on the killing should email hollywoodpdtips@hollywoodfl.org; go to the Broward Crime Stoppers website; call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 (TIPS); or call Hollywood police at 954-764-4357 (HELP) or 954-967-4411.
