SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard says it has rescued six tourists whose yacht caught on fire in the Atlantic Ocean.
Authorities said Tuesday that three U.S. citizens, two Australians and one South African were taken to Puerto Rico. The Coast Guard said the five men and one woman were traveling from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Antigua aboard a 110-foot (34- meter) yacht named "Miracle."
Authorities said the boat caught on fire Monday night more than 70 miles (113 kilometers) north of Puerto Rico's Mona Island. The Coast Guard said it escorted the group in the yacht's tender it had been towing.
